To, decide the role of eco-industrial parks in relation to eco-innovation and Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP) and the role of technology in the eco-innovation and Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP)

Description of contents/ agenda

Participants from different national cleaner production centres from different countries presented their progress report and cases studies on Eco Innovation and Eco Industrial parks practices in their region. Dr. Bharat Jain, Member Secretary, Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, was invited to share his knowledge and experience on the relevant subject. He presented the case studies of Naroda and Sachin Industrial Estates into eco-innovation and eco-industrial parks by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre. The session concluded deciding to refer eco-innovation manual while working on relevant subject.
