Research Activity
As we know that students play an important role in improving and strengthening the society; because ‘today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders and as a citizen of nation we should feel proud. With this philosophy, we as GCPC, provide a single knowledge sharing platform by organizing “Integration of Research to Industrial Application’ for students and researchers pursuing the field of Chemical / Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science. It works as a bridge between the Academia, Industries and Government.
The objective of the programme is to strengthen the skills of the students as well to promote their research in the field of cleaner production and clean technologies. The programme also focuses on practical implementation of research based activities in the industries to promote Sustainable Industrialization in the state.
Programme outline:
- Invite Abstract of dissertation/thesis from the final year college students of Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering and Environmental Science on Cleaner Production, Clean Technology, Waste minimization, Reduction in energy & water & raw material consumption, Process change and Environment conservation.
- Selection of best five abstract by Panel of Expert amongst the abstracts received by GCPC.
- Presentation and Prize distribution of best five abstract.
- Publication of book containing all abstracts received by GCPC and dissemination to major Industrial Estates and Engineering Colleges of Gujarat.
